Researcher biography
Dr Samantha Stephens is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Queensland. Her PhD program of research examined how behaviour change occurs and how behaviour change strategies can be used to achieve effective outcomes in sitting reduction interventions. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the BeUpstanding program of research, which aims to support workplaces to sit less and move more, and includes an online evidence-based toolkit to reduce sitting time in the workplace.
