Histology

Histology is a set of techniques for staining or labelling of tissues and cells, with the purpose of visualizing biological processes.

IMB has partnered with CSIRO to provide researchers in the the QBP precinct as well as the wider UQ community with training, experise and access to specialised systems for tissue preparation, tissue sectioning (paraffin embedded and cryosectioning), and histochemical and immunohistochemical staining.
