The IMB Advisory Board provides guidance to IMB’s Director on the successful operation of the institute as a world class research organisation in the following areas:

  • Strategic planning
  • Financial sustainability
  • Strong and ethical governance
  • Research priorities and research excellence
  • Translation and commercialisation.
  • Communications
  • Partnership and engagement
  • Philanthropy

Board members are unpaid volunteers who bring a wide variety of skill and expertise to the role. The Board meets at least four times every year to actively engage with management early in major strategic planning processes, thus providing early and continues advice and guidance during plan development and implementation.
