UQ Scholarships

UQ Graduate School Scholarships are available for both domestic and international* candidates via the UQ Graduate School scholarship rounds.

*At present, due to border restrictions, only onshore international candidates are considered in round.

Project-linked scholarships are available via the Earmarked scheme. A number of IMB researchers have projects listed under either Health or Science, Agriculture, Environment or Agribusiness. Ideally, if interested in a listed project based at IMB, you should contact the relevant IMB researcher to discuss research match, before lodging an application for this scheme.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Scholarship

The IMB encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to undertake their UQ Higher Degree by Research program, enrolled via the IMB. Working in conjunction with ATSISU, we will actively support suitable candidates to apply for UQ’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Scholarship, the conditions for which can be found here.
