You are invited to join us for a free two-day microscopy symposium this 10-11 November 2015, co-hosted by UQ's Institute for Molecular Bioscience and QUT's Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation.
The symposium, Bioimaging: Single cells to whole organisms, will highlight the exciting research and advanced microscopy technologies within Brisbane’s scientific community.
The program will provide a fantastic forum for research students, postdoctoral staff, and group leaders to mingle, exchange ideas and techniques, and connect with their peers to discuss all things microscopy.
Registration is free and participation in our Day 1 poster session is strongly encouraged for all ECRs.
At our Day 1 poster session, three poster prizes will be awarded:
- Best presentation of microscopy data (judged by IMB Microscopy Facility staff)
- Best quantitative analysis of microscopy data (judged by Dr Nic Hamilton and his group)
- Most innovative application of microscopy (judged by IMB Microscopy Facility staff)
Thanks to our event sponsors—American Society for Cell Biology, Zeiss, GE, TrendBio, AXT Pty Ltd, QUT IHBI, and the IMB Microscopy Facility—for their participation and support of our event.
