Caroline joined the Inflammasome Lab in 2014 for a postgraduate Honours project supervised by Dr Kate Schroder. Her project involved using a flow cytometry-based assay to screen a panel of pattern recognition receptors for the ability to trigger oligomerisation of the inflammasome adaptor ASC. Caroline's research earned her a First Class Honours. In 2015, Caroline returned to the Inflammasome Lab as a research assistant. In January 2017, Caroline begins her PhD in inflammation.
