Breaking Boundaries in Regenerative Medicine and Developmental Biology

Our aim is to promote Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and showcase the cutting-edge science produced by the new generation of researchers in Australia. These meetings will cover a wide array of topics from discovery to translational science including, but not limited to:

  • Stem Cells and Disease Modelling
  • Vector design and gene editing
  • Cell and gene therapy strategies
  • Regenerative medicine
  • Organoids
  • Spatial Transcriptomics 
  • Computational biology
  • Developmental Biology

The Symposium includes:

  • Two oral presentation sessions featuring talks and flash talks

  • Prizes for best presentations

Registration for non-members is $20 per delegate.

Interested in presenting? Submit your abstract here.
The Program Committee will select presenters for the oral presentations and flash talks/poster presentations.
ASSCR members will be given priority.

Registration deadline for abstract submission is 26 May 2023.

Registration deadline for the event is 16 June 2023.

The Australasian Society for Stem Cell Research (ASSCR) aims to promote the disciplines of stem cell biology and therapies in Australasia, promote education and research, and to disseminate scientific information. Our specific objectives are to support and promote stem cell research and encourage scientific exchange within the region, and to provide all interested parties, including the general public, with the opportunity to access information relating to scientific, medical and ethical advances in the broad field of stem cell research.

Please do not attend the event (you may contact us to organise a refund).
If becoming unwell during the event, please inform one of our organisers onsite and we will assist you.
